About Justice Denied

Justice Denied is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a platform that publicizes cases of wrongful convictions and exposes the systemic issues that lead to these injustices throughout South Africa, with a special focus on the African community. Founded on the principles of justice, equality, and human rights, our organization strives to bring attention to the often-overlooked injustices within the legal system and to advocate for meaningful reforms that can prevent these tragedies from recurring.

Rights-Based Approach

Justice Denied implements a human rights-based approach to development, empowering vulnerable and marginalized groups to demand accountability. It emphasizes participation, accountability, non-discrimination, empowerment and respect for human rights.

Our Mission

At Justice Denied, our mission is to shed light on wrongful convictions that plague our justice system and advocate for reforms to prevent them from occurring in the future.

Our Vision

Our vision is a fair and just legal system where every individual is treated with dignity and respect, and where wrongful convictions are a rarity rather than a common occurrence.
